The Jerry Sandusky Mug Shot

The Jerry Sandusky mugshot has finally been released. The former Penn State defensive coordinator was arrested November 5, and is currently facing 40 counts of criminal sexual abuse with children. These allegations occurred from 1994 to 2009 and include eight named victims, who have testified that Sandusky befriended them through The Second Mile organization, which Sandusky founded for troubled young boys. As a part of this non-profit charity, Sandusky would often have the young boys sleep over at his home and provide them with trips to sporting events and Penn State football games. It was during these events that Sandusky would sexually assault the boys, either in his basement or in the Penn State football facilities, including the teams’ showers. Sandusky was later banned from bringing these boys to the football building after he was caught sexually abusing a 10-year-old in the locker room by then-graduate assistant Mike McQueary, who had informed head coach Joe Paterno of the situation. However, the incident went unreported until recently.
