PITTSBURGH - On November 3, a large group of people protesting the fracturing or "fracking" of the underground of Pennsylvania took to the streets. Several hundred citizens assembled at Allegheny Landing on the North Side at 10.30 a.m. and marched across the Rachel Carson Bridge to a rally outside the Convention Center. Inside the Center, the financiers and corporations that are contemplating reaping billions from natural gas in the shale were planning their strategy. ~ Michael Drohan
