New York gallery Two Palms is offering an Elizabeth Peyton portrait of Larry Gagosian rendered in the artist’s signature brushy strokes on twinrocker handmade paper. Priced at $32,000, the painting was made this year during a session when Gagosian sat for Peyton in her studio. “They’re friendly,” a gallery rep said. The work went up late in the preview, replacing a Peyton self-portrait that sold. - ARTINFO
