Howard Bragman

LOS ANGELES -- Most Hollywood publicists try to keep their clients in the closet. Howard Bragman helps his get out. Now, the openly gay p.r. guru -- who has helped country singer Chely Wright, actress Meredith Baxter and Chaz Bono go public with their sexual preferences -- is developing a new A&E reality series, aptly titled "Coming Out." "I am kind of a midwife for celebrities who want to come out," he tells The Post. Details of the show are still being finalized, but Bragman -- who outed his first client, actor Dick Sargent, in 1991 -- hopes to have a pilot on the air by the end of the year. Ultimately, people would tune in each week to see who is coming out. - SEAN DALY
