MICHAEL Jackson didn't get everything he wanted. Manhattan art collector Stuart Pivar recalls the Gloved One visiting his Central Park West duplex to see 19th-century French painter William Bouguereau's masterpiece "Pieta." Jackson immediately shooed his entourage into the foyer while he stood, transfixed for 15 minutes, staring at the 12-foot-tall painting of Mary holding a dead Jesus. "He said one word over and over during that whole time -- 'Awesome!' " Pivar told us. But Jackson was beat out by Sylvester Stallone, who put in his bid first. -PAGE SIX, NY Post
